Video Description: Sri Kandasamy Temple in Panadura, Sri Lanka is located in an acre plot with the town and the history of the temple is unknown. Tamil business men looked after the temple since 1950s and many Hindu students from Katubedde visited this temple in a regular basis. During 1958 racial riots, this temple was damaged and the priest was murdered. However, the temple was renovated with the help of the locals. In 1983, it was again damaged and with the help of the government of Sri Lanka, it was reconstructed as a beautiful temple and had its Mahakumbabhishekam in 2010 after 30 years. Now it is a busy place of worship for many Buddhists. This video shows te visit to the temple in 13th Dec. 2011.
